Chris Downey
Chris was born in Rochester, NY and lived there while growing up. He currently resides in Charlotte North Carolina, while attending Western Carolina University. Although he lives in North Carolina, he intends to pursue his post-education career elsewhere.
He is a Sport Management major, with a Coaching Minor and intends to work in professional hockey or soccer. At Western Carolina, Chris is the Public Address announcer for the Womens Softball team and currently works as a Gameday Assistant for the Media Relations Department.
Chris has participated in soccer as an athlete, official and coach in an era of 15 years. 6 of those as a ref and and 1 year as a coach while playing all 15 years.
He has been working with Photoshop for almost five years and is always looking for ways to improve. Including with his work at SabresHockeyCentral with the monthly wallpapers and other various graphics that are shown around the website.
Chris has been a graphic designer for SHC since March, 2010.
