Brandon Schlager
Brandon is a 20-year-old journalism major at Buffalo State College. Residing in Cheektowaga, NY, he grew up eating, sleeping and breathing Buffalo sports.
Despite his love for all things Bills and Yankees, Brandon’s favorite sport by far is hockey.
He’s been a huge Sabres fan for as long as he can remember but upon realizing he wasn’t very good at skating, decided he’d be much better off writing about hockey and the Sabres rather than actually playing the game he loves.
Brandon’s duration as a writer is relatively brief but his experience is expanding rapidly. He is currently a sports editor at Buffalo State’s student-run newspaper, ‘The Record’.
Aside from SabresHockeyCentral.com he also writes for BuffaloWins.com and is the Sabres correspondent for The Hockey Writers. Brandon loves feedback (good or bad) from his readers, so be sure to give him a follow on Twitter or shoot him an email!
