		<description>Chara spent 3 years on the Islanders before he was traded to Ottawa in 2001 in exchange for Alexi Yashin. (Chara was paired with Muckalt and the Islanders&#039; 2nd overall pick which ended up being Spezza) Although Chara never really showed much while in New York, he was a highly touted prospect and grew into the player he is today while in Ottawa. I think it is safe to say that the Sens got the best of this deal. Moral of the story - The Sabres would be wise to hold onto Myers, but history shows that a move can really unleash a player&#039;s true talents.</description>
