A painfully bad effort tonite after leading 2-0 thru 20 minutes. Completely quit out there. This is going to be the game that will probably….hopefully….end some jobs in the front office and on the bench

Chara spent 3 years on the Islanders before he was traded to Ottawa in 2001 in exchange for Alexi Yashin. (Chara was paired with Muckalt and the Islanders’ 2nd overall pick which ended up being Spezza) Although Chara never really showed much while in New York, he was a highly touted prospect and grew into the player he is today while in Ottawa. I think it is safe to say that the Sens got the best of this deal. Moral of the story – The Sabres would be wise to hold onto Myers, but history shows that a move can really unleash a player’s true talents.
